The Container Exercise teaches a visualization technique used in trauma-informed therapy to help manage distressing thoughts or emotions.


Viewers learn how to mentally “store” overwhelming material in a safe place so it doesn’t intrude on daily functioning.


This exercise can be especially helpful when difficult memories arise outside of therapy sessions. It offers a sense of control, safety, and emotional boundaries.
